Online estimate

Get an indicative garden care estimate.

Not every garden fits neatly into a price box. Answer a few practical questions about the garden, access, timing and green waste, and the estimator will give a sensible indicative range or explain if review is needed. No pressure - just a practical starting point.

No-pressure guide

The range helps you decide what to do next. It does not lock you into a booking or replace a confirmed quote.

Indicative only

Final pricing depends on size, condition, access, waste handling, frequency and availability.

Complex work

Large tidy-ups, hedge work, urgent requests and commercial enquiries may need a quote visit or manual review.

Garden size guide
Illustrated guide showing garden size bands from small to very large

Garden size guide

Choose the maintained garden area, not the whole property plot.

These are practical guides, not exact survey measurements. Use the maintained garden/lawn area that needs work.

Small garden

Up to around 50 m²

A typical courtyard, small rear garden or compact lawn/patio space.

Usually suitable for shorter maintenance visits if access is straightforward.

Medium garden

Around 50-150 m²

A typical family garden with lawn, beds/borders and some edges.

Often needs regular maintenance or a longer one-off tidy.

Large garden

Around 150-300 m²

A larger plot with multiple beds, a larger lawn, hedges or several zones.

May need a longer visit, recurring plan or quote visit.

Very large / complex garden

Usually over 300 m²

An extensive garden, multiple levels, long hedges, difficult access or heavy overgrowth.

Likely to need manual review or a quote visit.

Lawn size in m² guide
Illustrated lawn measurement guide showing length by width

Lawn size in square metres

A rough length by width estimate is enough.

Estimate the area by multiplying approximate length by width. For example, a 10m by 8m lawn is about 80 m².

No lawn

Beds, patios, gravel or paved garden only.

Small lawn

Up to around 50 m²

Roughly a small courtyard or compact rear lawn.

Medium lawn

Around 50-150 m²

A typical rear garden lawn.

Large lawn

Around 150-300 m²

Likely to take longer and may need regular mowing.

Very large lawn

Over 300 m²

May need manual review depending on access, slope and grass length.

Garden condition guide
Illustrated garden condition guide from well maintained to heavily overgrown

Garden condition

Choose the closest fit without worrying about being exact.

The condition helps estimate time and waste. It is a practical guide, not a judgement on the garden.

Well maintained

Regularly cut or tidied, with light mowing, weeding or edging and little waste.

Usually more predictable.

Needs attention

Grass is longer than usual, weeds are visible or borders need tidying.

Manageable waste, but it may take longer than a routine visit.

Overgrown

Long grass, established weeds, brambles or heavy growth, with edges or borders less clear.

Likely to need a tidy-up rather than simple maintenance.

Heavily overgrown / manual review

Very long grass, dense brambles, blocked access, hidden obstacles or unsafe areas.

A quote visit or photo review is likely, and the price range may change after review.

Access and parking guide
Illustrated guide showing a side gate, driveway and garden path for access and parking

Access and parking

Good access and nearby parking help keep visits efficient.

If access is through the house, down steps, along a narrow path or parking is limited, that does not necessarily mean we cannot help - it simply means we may need to allow more time or review the estimate.

Easy access

Side gate or direct garden access, with normal garden tools carried through safely.

Parking nearby or driveway available.

Moderate access

Access through a house, narrow path, steps, shared access or limited parking.

May take extra time to move tools and green waste.

Difficult access

Steep steps, very narrow route, no nearby parking, long carry distance, awkward gates or restricted access times.

May require manual review or adjusted pricing.

Driveway / nearby parking

The easiest option for moving tools safely and keeping visits efficient.

Street parking

Usually fine if it is close by and there are no unusual restrictions.

Limited loading

May increase the time needed if tools or waste have to be carried further.

Permit / restricted parking

Tell us in advance so the visit can be reviewed sensibly.

Green waste guide
Illustrated guide showing different green waste bag volumes

Green waste volume

Bagging or placing neatly on site is the standard option.

Removal may be available by arrangement and is normally quoted separately depending on volume, access and the appropriate disposal route.

Bag/place neatly on site

The standard option for most visits, using an agreed place, green bin or compost area where suitable.

Small amount

A few clippings or one/two bags. Removal may be available by arrangement.

Several bags

Likely to need separate review or an add-on quote depending on volume, access and disposal route.

Large volume

Manual review required before any handling or removal is agreed.
